The Walnut
Tree Gallery is based in the village of Sixpenny Handley,
a working village in the heart of the beautiful Cranborne
Chase in Dorset. It is the largest village in North Dorset,
and its name is derived from the names of two Saxon Hundreds,
Sexpena and Hanlega, meaning ‘hilltop’ and ‘high
clearing’.
The
gallery was set up in 2007 by Brady Turner as an exhibition
space for contemporary treasures
- items reflecting the colour and design, integrity, humour
and originality of today’s designers, artists and makers.
It has since become an established outlet for unusual, heart-warming
presents, alongside many exciting ranges of greetings cards.
The online store contains
our extended range, and is being constantly updated.
