Charming little wren in painted wood, standing on branch, with linen ivy leaf feature.

 

 

Dinah Wyatt says:  "Many years ago a lady came to stay with me from Ireland. She came to attend a course on carving a duck. I was thinking it was a cooking class - to be told it was 'wood carving'. At the end of five days she returned with a very realistic Mallard drake, which she put beside my fire grate. From then on I was hooked. I attended the next course, and since then have made many birds; I thoroughly enjoy it."
