16" silver coloured wire
Striking dichroic glass pendant; vivid sparkly metallic blue with a dash of silvery pink.
Based at her home in the Dorset village of Cranborne, Linda Rowe has studied glass for the past 6 years. Captivated by the light, texture and colour combinations of glass, she has developed a range of contemporary designs. These include framed tiffany glass pictures, vibrant fused glass jewellery, fused glass bowls and hangings. Her work is inspired by the natural forms of the Hampshire and Dorset landscapes and coastlines.
'My aim is to create jewellery that is eye-catching and unique. Each item is made as an individual piece, and I like to experiment with materials and techniques, so my jewellery is constantly developing. I use clear and coloured Bullseye glass and vibrant dichroic glass which is fused in a kiln.' |
