Pretty bowl with colourful red rose design. Part of Janet's brand new 'Halla' range of contemporary ceramics. Signed by hand with Janet's trademark 'JPL' on base.

 

 

Janet Parker-Laird trained in Bournemouth and worked at Poole Pottery from 1969, where she was supervisor of the Delphis Studio from 1970-1974. She is a member of the collective group of artists known as Poole Zone - former Poole and Purbeck Pottery ceramic artists of the 1960s, 70s and 80s, who are recreating the vivid colouring and the essence of the former designs in fresh, new individual pieces. Janet now also works as an independent ceramic artist at her workshop studio in Pimperne, Dorset.

 

All items are individually made and therefore unique; slight variations will occur between them, which contribute to their integrity as handmade pieces.
