Geoffrey Robinson is a widely collected artist who attended Bournemouth College of Art but waited to begin his painting career until 1990, after many months spent filming and editing a video documentary of the eminent artist Gillian Ayres RA OBE. His own work beautifully combines geometric abstraction and figuration with an innovative perspective and a two dimensional composition and is in numerous private collections including: Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, St George's Healthcare Trust, Paintings in Hospitals, The Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Lord David Puttnam CBE, George Michael, and Quentin Willson. |
